Punted Like a Gnome in Ramparts

Well finally, after months of gearing and raiding I am starting to get back to the way I like to play. Of course as a guild leader if I was ignoring the raiding demands of the guild that would be selfish and would not allow us to grow once Ulduar comes out. But now that my demand for heroics is lowered I can hop on and have some fun.

I prefer the wondering what I will do when I log on rather than scheduled raids. Although I will continue to raid and show some of the content, that is not the main focus of my videos.

Over the last 2 years I have acquired a vast audience that is interested in different videos, so I try to keep them varied so that everyone can enjoy. Everything from PVE to PVP, with gold, leveling, and time saving tips contained within.

Ramparts was a ton of fun, and I was surprised on the big difference, since I hadn't been in there since level 70. When searching for members to run, by looking to guild or typing /who 58 or /who hellfire, I had found that there were a lot of Deathknights. I tried to limit my groups to 2 Deathknighs maximum. The first power leveling run I made, I had no healing class in my group which was a huge mistake. Well I had figured I could solo it so healing wasn't a concern, but with the additional players in the instance, the agro was all over the map. So a healer helped, while I regained control of the instance.

In this video the BOP items you saw drop were:

Watchkeeper Gargolmar dropped Scale Leggings of the Skirmisher

Omor the Unscarred dropped the Crystalfire Staff

After defeating Nazan the chest contained Kilt of Rolling Thunders, Witching Band, Shifting Sash of Midnight, and the Mok'Nathal Clan Ring,

By being exaulted with the Cenarion Expedition, I was able to purchase the Cenarion War Hippogryph.

The poll I talk about in this video can be found at the bottom to this blog. The poll is now closed.

Farming Mounts

The new spell Sacred Sheild works awsome in any AOE pull, and the new taunt Hand of Reckoning is awesome to have. Hand of Reckoning comes in super useful in raiding, I will talk about one Naxx boss in the future & how this spell has changed the way I play.

Speaking of Naxx, I still have lots of footage, but am kinda worn out of Naxx. It's nice to start getting back to the way I like to play. There are 2 different modes of play. Hopping on when you want and deciding when you want to leave, and then there's scheduled raiding. Although raiding is fun and rewarding, I do find the variety of logging on and wondering what I want to do more my style of play.

Now that I am using the new editing program Sony Vegas 9, It has saved me tons of time, and allowed me to edit like I couldn't before. I used to do all my editing on my laptop, which is not as fast as my desktop. Yet my desktop did not have any great editing program (which I do now). So no more transferring files back and forth. It does take a bit more time to render the final video, but I believe the clarity can bee seen. A new CPU may be in store for me in the future as it will speed up the rendering process (or at least that is my excuse to buy one).
